Writing to Heal

Something I truly love and have talked about many times before is writing.
Whether it's an article for a blog to talk about something important, an educational program, or just in my journal. Writing can so HEALING.
Journaling or expressive writing has been shown to decrease anxiety and depression symptoms, help decrease PTSD symptoms, and improve things like sleep, mood, and focus.
This is because writing helps you to:
- Link events or thoughts to feelings.
- Find balance between thinking and feeling.
- Create order and organization.
- SLOW DOWN.
So, if you're struggling with things like BURNOUT, try some of these prompts and help yourself heal.
1. What excites you most about your future?
2. What scares you most about your future?
3. What will mark the end of your healing journey?
4. What has your pain taught you or given you?
5. Write yourself an encouraging letter about how AMAZING you are. Like you are your very best friend BECAUSE YOU ARE!
